Optimum performance in laboratory comparative testing of cotton
To confirm the high quality standards of our analytics, Impetus regularly participates in laboratory comparative studies. In February, Wagening Food Safety Research (WFSR), in cooperation with Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA), Textile Exchange and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), conducted a comparative study on the detection of GM cotton according to ISO IWA 32:2019 with 37 laboratories, Impetus Bioscience was able to deliver “optimal performance”. Not only were we able to meet all qualitative requirements for the detection of GM cotton, but we were also able to make quantitative statements about the proportion of genetically modified cotton in all samples.
